In close collaboration with the "Car In The Future" project from the 3 Universities of Technology and the Netherlands Society for Nature and Environment (Stichting Natuur en Milieu), insights for electric transport opportunities will be communicated for example at the Amsterdam Motor Show (AutoRAI), the prime Dutch car exhibition event.

INCERT has a pre-competitive approach, but can help in establishing projects for competitive R&D tracks as well. The steering group supports strategy development, monitors progress and strengthens interactions with (international) stakeholders.

In the start-up phase, proposals for 3 major research projects have been submitted, focussing on infrastructural aspects of the introduction of electric road transport (such as urban design), and intensifying the collaboration between scientific universities and universities for applied sciences (HBO’s) to cover the chain between idea’s and applications and coordinate actions for new educational programs.
