About

D-incert (Dutch Innovation Centre for Electric Road Transport) has been founded in 2008 by the three Dutch Universities of Technology (TU Eindhoven, TU Twente and TU Delft) and the Universities of Applied Sciences from Rotterdam and Arnhem/Nijmegen (HRo and HAN). Since then, NGInfra, Prorail, KEMA, Eneco, the ANWB and Essent have joined D-incert as strategic innovation partners.

D-incert is a network organization that connects scientific research, technological innovation and education with the transition to electric road transport in The Netherlands. It is a platform for fast knowledge transfer, agenda setting and joint innovation and collaborative R&D. Strategic partners of D-incert are both research institutes and innovative companies that work together on technological solutions for electric road transport ranging from infrastructures, charging technology to batteries and electric vehicles. The D-incert approach is pre-competitive and aimed at independent knowledge and technology development. Our aim is to provide a strategic add to necessary innovation and market adoption of electric mobility and road transport in the Netherlands.

Main activities
D-incert facilitates knowledge sharing, joint innovation and agenda setting in the Netherlands. Its main activities are:

• Network events and workshops for companies, universities and research institutes
• Knowledge brokering, opportunity recognition and project initiation
• R&D and innovation roadmapping and longer term agenda setting in the Netherlands

Partnering
D-incert is open for research institutes and innovative companies that work on technological solutions for electric mobility and road transport. Strategic partners are eligible for participation in D-incert if they have:

• A proven track record of competencies and technological innovations in the field of electric mobility and road transport (e.g. have their own innovation and R&D department).
• A true commitment to collaborative innovation and knowledge sharing
